After Cattle/Cow Abattoir Slaughter Line Process 5: Synchronous Quarantine Inspection, the next process for a cattle/cow abattoir slaughter house line is By-product Processing, which is an optional processing line. Some countries do not use it on their cattle/cow abattoir slaughter line. It depends on customers’ actual situation.
Here are the details:
Qualified white viscera
- Qualified white viscera enters the white viscera processing room through the white viscera chute. The stomach/tripe contents in the belly and intestines are put into the air delivery tank.
- The compressed air is filled to transport the stomach contents through the air delivery pipe to the place which is 50 meters away from the slaughter workshop.
- Tripe and louvers are scalded by a tripe washing/cleaning machine.

Qualified red viscera
- Qualified red viscera and cattle/cow heads are removed from the hooks of the red viscera / cattle head synchronous quarantine conveyor.
- Hang on the hooks of the red viscera cart and pushed into the red viscera processing room.
- Clean and then put into the cold storage.
Next process is “Cattle/Cow Abattoir Slaughter Line Process 7: Beef Half Carcass Chilling“.
